Officially Missing You.

Yesterday…… So hectic. Got asked to prom by _____. (you’ll never guess who) Then got picked up by James and headed for Anaheim to go to disney. Ohhh. And watched the last episode of rooftop prince together. Bawled our eyes out :’) such a perfect and pleasant ending to a great night.

It feels nice to reconnect with an old friend… the inside jokes and the ultra comfy atmosphere we share when we’re together was something i truly missed and craved

Since I’m practically done with AP’s (yes i’m a slacker. did not decide to take all my AP’s this year since I’m not planning on transferring my B’s to college lmao) I decided to take a trip to Barnes and Noble! HEEEEEEEEHEEEE I WILL FINALLY HAVE TIME TO READ AGAIN! :D I am sho happy!! ^____^ HEUH HEUHH!

Okay so I got 4 books.

1) First one, the one I already started on is called “The Surrendered”. The author, Lee Chang-Rae, is a Korean-American Writing professor at Princeton University and has won the Hemingway PEN award. Fanshyyyy Schmancyyy huhh?. I got a little further than 200 pages and so far it’s reallly good! I feel like the whole book is so well-crafted and poetic. The imagery is extraordinarily vivid. 

2)&& in the spirit of Mother’s day, the second novel I got was “Please Look After Mom” by Shin Kyung Sook. This is supposed to be a major tear-jerker and apparently sold over a million copies in Korea. I’m just worried that there will be a loss of emotion to some extent due to the English translation. oh wells.

3) Third book I got is a classic to all mystery lovers of cosuh. You can never go wrong with AGATHA CHRISTIE! HAHA. Feel-good mystery novels that always ends  with a major “wtf” twist. I’ve been hooked on her novels ever since “And then there were none” One of my all time favs!

4) Last but not least, I got “The Silence of the Lambs”. It’s a pretty well-known psychological thriller. It’s supposed to be super fucked up. That’s why I got it. I love fucked up shizzz that messes with your mind. I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT.

Oh my gosh. I hope it rains this week… so I can get inside my comforter and get lost in my books for hours and hours :’)

I know I’m lazy. I know I can be a PMS ing bitch. I know I can be a smartass and I know I drive you crazy.

I know you think I’m a whore even though I’ve practically lived like a nun for the past 18 years. You have raised me well so there is no need to overreact over everything i do. 

I know I’ve shied away from massaging your shoulders as I’ve gotten older. I’m sorry I’ve been eating dinner in my room more often rather than eating it at the dinner table with you. I apologize for not trying as hard in school and I apologize for spending less quality time with you and spending more time with friends.

Even though we don’t spend weekends together watching korean dramas and eating shin ramyun at 1am… Even though I don’t vent out my feelings to you and tell you about the crush I have on the cute boy that sits in front of me in class…. EVEN though I rarely ever tell you anything anymore …….

Please know that I still love you unconditionally and I am incredibly thankful for all the things you’ve done for me.

I know I don’t always seem like it but I am trying and will always try to be the best daughter I can be. A daughter you can be proud of.

Happy 20th Birthday! I’m actually kinda mad that you didn’t even tell me it was your birthday. I mean I know I should be a good friend and remember your birthday but you still should have reminded me! T-T. I always deactivate my FB and i have AP’s so it slipped my mind. I wish I could have gone up to LA and planned something out for you with James but….arg…..
